Driver partnership policy & terms
This page summarises benefits, eligibility and how GoCab uses your data when you sign up to drive. The formal partnership contract is sent separately once your application is approved.
This English page is a translation for reference. The Vietnamese version prevails.
1Earnings & platform fee
- Trip guarantee for the first 6 months: drivers who meet KPIs get trips first; short days are made up with Driver Points that waive the platform fee on later days.
- Get paid T+1 (the next day) to your GoCab wallet (licensed partner) or bank account.
- 0% app maintenance fee.
- 0% commission for your first 7 days.
- After 7 days, a platform fee applies per ticket; the exact amount is shown in the driver app before you accept a trip.
- Driver Points (1 point = 1,000đ of fees waived): +1 per trip; +10 for weekly KPIs (on time, rating 4.8+); +100 for 30 trips in your first 14 days; refer a driver: +200 (newcomer +100) once they complete 20 trips.
- Platinum tier: an extra 2% off fees, priority trips and partner offers (fuel, servicing, insurance).
2Eligibility
- A driving licence valid for your vehicle class, and a vehicle that meets transport business regulations.
- Accurate personal, vehicle and payout account details.
- Follow road safety rules and the rider code of conduct.
3Online partnership terms

4Personal data we collect
- Minimum data collected: name, phone number, email, operating area, services you want to drive, vehicle type and plate number.
- Purpose: to contact you and verify your driver application. It is not used for anything else without your further consent.
- You may ask to see, correct or delete the data you provided — contact contact@gocab.vn.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4): only turned on when you accept in the cookie prompt; used to count page views and improve the website, with IP addresses truncated and never linked to your name or phone number. Change your mind at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
- GoCab processes data under Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection.
